Sources of Fund:
Productive Zakat (Condition apply), Sadaqah, Cash Waqf, Qard-al Hasan, Musharakah
(Partnership), Mudaraba (Partnership) or any other suitable mode or mixed modes of funding are
available based on the business and Shari’ah review of the application.
Objective of the Program:
- Empowering the genius
- Appreciating the potential IDEA through a comprehensive Entrepreneurship Development Program
(EDP) which includes funding, training, coaching, monitoring, evaluation etc. Re-funding
options are also available to make the project successful where needed as per the business review
report of GSISF.
- Enabling transition from being zakat recipients (mustahik) to zakat payers (muzakki).
- Achieving sustainable economic independence for beneficiary individuals, families and the society
as a whole and reducing poverty, bringing solvency, and self-confidence.
Target Group:
- Any individuals having a unique IDEA who may be poor or may not be poor or needy. University/
College/ Madrasah students and or recently graduate students preferred.
- Individuals seeking to start or expand small and medium-sized businesses.
- Entrepreneurs in city, rural areas and agricultural villages.
- Non-Resident Bangladeshi (NRB) may also apply (conditions apply).
- Those requiring various levels of business support from basic to medium-scale operations.
